Inventor Josh Cox of Moroni, UT has developed an apparatus to repair and/or extend the life of a tail pulley belt.
Material belt conveyors are used in many different industries. An important part of the material conveyor is the tail pulley. But when the tail pulley wears out, operation can become erratic and lead to premature failure of the entire conveyor system. Working in heavy equipment, Josh just knew there had to be a better way. The Belt Saver is his solution.
But how does it work? The invention is used on tail pulleys that are already worn and ensures proper attachment of the belt. Most notably, it eliminates the need to replace the entire tail pulley. Saving time is saving money. Use of the invention takes only minutes – instead of the hours typically needed to replace the entire tail pulley. After this quick installation, operation can continue on uninterrupted. Various sizes are possible to accommodate the size of a tail pulley.
